The Schooner Kathryn B.

Your beautiful home away from home.

A brand-new classic, the Kathryn B. is a rugged, ocean-going, steel-hulled 105-foot, three-masted, gaff-rigged topsail schooner. Her huge sails propel her with grace and swiftness, and when the winds refuse to cooperate, her powerful engine carries her comfortably to her next port.

From the day she began taking shape on the architect's drawing board, your preferences and pleasures have been a primary concern. That's why most cabins have queen-size berths, writing desks, and their own private heads with hot shower; why all her cabins and salon are so comfortable, airy, and bright; and even why the windows in the deck house have been placed at just the right level for sightseeing.

Come relax on a tufted-velvet settee with a good book. Take tea on the afterdeck and dine on delicious dishes carefully prepared using the best local seafoods and other fresh ingredients. Study the stars through an antique spyglass. Sleep soundly beneath soft, monogrammed sheets in your private stateroom. And revel in a perfect blending of yesterday’s traditions with today’s comforts.
